THE STORY
This is the second of a trilogy of candles inspired by 2020 and the global pandemic that touched almost every human on the planet.
One of the places I yearned for during lockdown was the coastline, the freshest of air and the saltiest of sea breezes. I don't think I am alone in that.
Specifically, the last weekend of September every year is spent on the North Cornish coast at Holywell Bay, the inspiration for this fragrance.
Last year I got lucky with the easing of restrictions and I was able to get my feet into the sand. The utter joy.
There has been no chance of a return just yet, but this subtle fragrance wafts around the rooms of my home evoking a glimpse of special memories.
